HUMAN SEA BRIDGE
Building bridges when conflict interrupts care, education and the future.
Within the limits of our means, we help Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza, whether they are still there or have been evacuated, and we focus our work where it is most useful: with people evacuated to Egypt. When vital treatment or a study plan stalls for lack of access, contacts or funding, we connect families, hospitals, universities, humanitarian organisations and institutions to reopen the passage.

WHO WE ARE
A French non‑profit, independent and accountable.
Human Sea Bridge is the international name of Pont de Mer Humanitaire, a non‑profit association registered in France in February 2026 under the French Law of 1 July 1901. We are based in Concarneau, Brittany, with a permanent volunteer representation in Cairo.
We help Palestinians affected by the war in Gaza reach medical care and continue their studies. For each situation, we document it, verify it and connect the people and organisations able to act. We do not run hospitals, decide on evacuations or issue visas.
A four-member Board of Directors oversees our work under published rules. Two of its members are from outside the founding couple.

Pont de Mer, the song born of a mobilisation to save lives.
“I could only dream that there existed a bridge over this sea.”
In Gaza, Yaser Al Rayyes imagined a passage between confinement and safety. These words gave a name and a direction to the mobilisation that became Human Sea Bridge, and inspired the song “Pont de Mer”, written and composed by Émilie, a member and volunteer of the association.
This is where our work began. The same method now serves other pathways.
