ORGANISATIONAL LIFE · OCTOBER 2026 · CONCARNEAU

Adopted by an extraordinary general meeting on 10 September 2026 and filed on 8 October, the new articles of association (statuts 2.0) of Human Sea Bridge (Pont de Mer Humanitaire) set out who decides, under which rules and with which checks.

Meeting in an extraordinary general meeting on 10 September 2026, the members of Human Sea Bridge adopted new articles of association, known as the “statuts 2.0”. They were filed with the French associations registry on 8 October 2026 and replace the founding articles of 16 February 2026.

Why new articles of association

The founding articles set out a minimal framework. The organisation’s work, coordinating medical and educational pathways with families, care and education providers and institutions, called for more precise rules: who decides, under which rules, with which checks.

Coordinating care pathways relies on the trust of families, health professionals and institutions. That trust depends on clear, public rules.

What changes

01 · Roles

A clear division of roles between the general meeting of members, an elected Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau responsible for implementation.

02 · Commitments

Making a donation or volunteering does not, in itself, confer membership. Volunteers act within a defined framework, in particular an agreement or a letter of assignment.

03 · Voting

A regulated electronic vote, whose arrangements will be set by the internal rules.

A four-member Board of Directors

The extraordinary general meeting elected four directors: Amélie Brégeaut, Gaïa Lassaube, Emna Tinard and Jérôme Tinard.

Under the transitional provisions of the articles, the current Bureau remains in office until the Board of Directors elects the Bureau: Jérôme Tinard, President, Emna Tinard, Secretary General, and Amélie Brégeaut, Treasurer. They are presented on the Governance & Transparency page.

Next steps

The Board of Directors will meet to elect the Bureau and adopt the internal rules. These decisions will be the subject of a further filing and will be published on the Governance page.

A redesigned website, in French and English

This step comes with the redesign of our website, available in French at pontdemerhumanitaire.org and in English at humanseabridge.org. Pathways, situation figures and governance information are dated and kept up to date.

Read the articles of association

The statuts 2.0 are published in full, in a public version (handwritten signatures masked). An unofficial English translation is provided for information; only the French text filed with the associations registry is legally binding and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
